Register Attendee

from Administrative Screen

After an event is launched, administrators can register someone via the Manage Invitees tab.

 

  1. Login to your event.
  2. Click the Manage Invitees tab.

  1. Under the Search Invitee section, enter the last name (and first if you desire) of the person you wish to register.  
  2. Click Search.

  1. If the user is in your targeted Invitee list already, Cvent will return the name.  If you return no results, click the Register New link and enter all applicable information.
  2. Click the registrant’s name to open the Invitee Information page.

  1. Select Register from the Available Actions dropdown list.

  1. Select Registration Type (if applicable) from the dropdown box.
  2. Click the Register button.

  1. The Registrant Information screen will display.  Fill out all required information.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Click Next to pass through the Group Registration page.
  4. On the Summary and Payment page, enter any Discount Code (if applicable) and click Apply.  
  5. Enter Payment Method.  
    1. Select No Payments if you just have a PO number.
    2. Select Offline Payments if you have a check in hand.
    3. Select Online Payments if you have the credit card information (not recommended, however.  If people are paying by Credit Care, please direct them or walk them through the Online Registration for liability reasons.).
  6. Check or uncheck the box to send a confirmation email to registrant.  
  7. Click Finish.

  1. For Check and Credit Card order, you are finished.  For PO orders, click on the Order Adjustments link.

  1. Enter the PO number is the Internal Note section of the Invitee Information.  
  2. Click Save when finished.
